Indian nationals holding ordinary passport are exempted for Tourism and short-term business engagements for stay upto 60 days only. For other categories, from 1st January 2025 there will the Implementation of Electronic Visa System (e-Visa) in India. It is important to note that you are only able to apply if you are currently not in Thailand and in the countries where e-Visa services are available.

For New Delhi: Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Punjab, Rajasthan, Sikkim, Tripura, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Chandigarh, Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu, Delhi, Jammu and Kashmir, Lakshadweep, Ladakh
For Mumbai: Goa, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra
For Chennai: Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Puducherry
For Kolkata: Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Odisha, West Bengal, Andaman and Nicobar Islands
