Important Information

In view of the improving global COVID-19 situation, Singapore will be updating the Vaccinated Travel Framework (VTF):

A. Travellers born on or after 1 Jan 2010 (i.e. aged 12 and below by year of birth) are exempted from COVID-19 border measures.

B. Travellers born on or before 31 Dec 2009 (i.e. aged 13 and above by year of birth) may enter Singapore as per normal without testing or quarantine, only if they have taken the minimum WHO-EUL vaccine dosage listed below at least 2 weeks before arrival in Singapore, and can show proof of vaccination:

i. One dose of CanSinoBIO/Convidecia or Janssen/J&J vaccine; OR

ii. Two doses of AstraZeneca, Covaxin, Moderna/Spikevax, or Covishield vaccine administered at least 24 days apart; OR

iii. Two doses of Novavax/Covovax/Nuvaxovid, Pfizer/BioNTech/COMIRNATY, or Sinopharm vaccine, administered at least 17 days apart; OR

iv. Two doses of Sinovac vaccine, administered 13 days apart; OR

v. Mixture of any two doses of vaccines listed in points 1-4, administered at least 17 days apart; OR

vi. Any of the vaccination combinations listed in points 1-5 and subsequently recovered from COVID-19; OR

vii. At least one dose of any WHO EUL approved vaccines listed in points 1-4, taken at least 28 days after a COVID-19 positive diagnosis.

C. Travellers not fully vaccinated with COVID-19 WHO EUL Vaccines are required to fulfil the additional COVID-19 requirements listed below:

i. Take Pre-Departure Test (PDT), i.e. a COVID-19 Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) test, within two days before departure.

ii. Short-Term Visitors (e.g. tourists) are required to purchase COVID-19 travel insurance with at least SGD 30,000 medical coverage, to cover the duration of their stay in Singapore.

D. Travellers tested positive for COVID-19 between 14 and 90 days before the date of departure for Singapore need not take a PDT. Travellers can visit www.go.gov.sg/recovered-traveller-checker to verify if PDT can be waived, and the documentation required to prove their first infection or recovery.

E. All travellers entering Singapore from 29 Aug 2022 no longer need entry approvals.

F. All travellers arriving from 29 Aug 2022 no longer need to serve a 7-day Stay Home Notice (SHN).

 

All travellers entering Singapore via air or sea must also submit their electronic health declaration before they enter Singapore, using the SG Arrival Card e-Service (SGAC) at https://eservices.ica.gov.sg/sgarrivalcard/. Travellers are strongly encouraged to do so before departing for Singapore to facilitate a smooth arrival process in Singapore; a submission can be made up to 3 days before arrival in Singapore. This submission is free of-charge and no payment is required.

Most important Information

Travellers are strongly encouraged to complete the online SG Arrival Card (SGAC) with Electronic Health declaration before departure, up to 72 hours before arrival in Singapore. The acknowledgement email issued upon submission can be shown on boarding or on arrival for smoother document checks.
